Weight Loss is Not the Goal You Want to Set for Yourself

A lot of people new to the whole weight loss and fitness discipline often have trouble setting their goals. By this, I don’t mean deciding on the number of pounds to lose in what time. What I mean is deciding whether or not it is weight that you want to lose or something else. Intrigued? Then go ahead and read the rest of this post.

A lot of people are obsessed with losing weight. Don’t get me wrong, weight loss is an admirable goal and you can use it to keep your motivation to lose weight high, but one should not get carried away with it. What you really want to achieve is to lose the right kind of weight, which is fat. So, do not go overboard about measuring your weight on the weighing scale.

So, go about your exercise sensibly and as long as you find yourself looking good in the mirror, you don’t have to worry about how much weight you are losing.
